1st Professional Committee Meeting 21.01.2026
Our Chamber's 1st Professional Committee met for its regular monthly meeting to evaluate sectoral developments and issues on the committee's agenda.
The meeting, attended by Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek, also included Professional Committee Chairman Gökan Doğan, Professional Committee Vice Chairman Muhammet Mustafa Takat, committee members Mustafa Dağ, Davut Cengiz, and Serkan Yıldız, as well as other committee members.
During the meeting, the differences in VAT rates faced by members operating in the food sector in their purchasing and sales transactions were discussed, and it was decided to discuss this issue with the relevant ministries and TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey). Furthermore, it was decided to discuss with the Yalova Municipality the possibility of re-evaluating and reducing the high increases in solid waste fees demanded from markets by the Yalova Municipality.
