7th Professional Committee Holds First Meeting of the New Term
The 7th Professional Committee, comprised of representatives from the banking and insurance sectors within the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), held its first regular meeting of the new term at the Chamber's Service Building on October 17, 2026, following the YTSO organ elections.
The meeting was attended by YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek, Assembly President Hakan Gencer, and General Secretary Taner Eriş, as well as Board Member Ercan Özel, Assembly Secretary Rahmi Üstel, and Committee Members Tuncay Deniz, Ayşegül Karayavuz, and Özgür Avan.
Following the distribution of duties at the first meeting of the new term, Tuncay Deniz was elected as the Chairman of the 7th Professional Committee, and Ayşegül Karayavuz as the Vice-Chairman.
The meeting addressed the current state of the banking and insurance sector, sectoral developments, and the work to be carried out in the new term. Evaluations were made regarding the committee's work roadmap, and members' views and suggestions were also taken into consideration.
The meeting concluded after evaluating the work that will contribute to the development of the sector in the new term.
