Yalova Governor Muammer Erol, AK Parti Yalova Deputies Meliha Akyol and Ahmet Büyükgümüş, AK Parti Provincial Chairman Muğlim Bağatar, Yalova Mayor Mustafa Tutuk, Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Tahsin Becan and YTSO Board of Directors Members and Heads of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, Ak Parti Vice President Nurettin Canikli and 61st Government Youth and Sports Minister Suat Kılıç met on 20 January 2020.

YTSO Chairman Tahsin Becan; The consultation meeting was very productive. Adnan Dağ, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen and İsmail Mutlu, Chairman of the Chamber of Tradesmen, conveyed their opinions on the problems experienced in Yalova's economy and commercial life together with our members of the Board of Directors of YTSO.

We stated that, due to the restrictions experienced during the pandemic period, cafes, cafes, restaurants, wedding halls, tourism travel agencies and hotels, especially in the service sector, had economic difficulties. Our businesses in these sectors experience a very serious loss of income. We stated that the supports provided by our government should be supported by transferring more resources, especially to our enterprises in these sectors.

Stating that the high loan interest rates applied by banks in the recent period have become one of the most important obstacles to production and investment, banks do not support our companies at all by increasing their loan rates far above the increase in their costs. In addition, it was stated that they do not take a constructive attitude towards the loans of our members who lost their income during this period, banks should support our members.

I would like to thank Ak Parti Deputy Chairman Nurettin Canikli, 61st Government Youth and Sports Minister Suat Kılıç, and our Governor of Yalova, AK Parti Deputies and Deputy Mayor for listening to all our demands in solving the troubles experienced.
