Kocadere Martyrs Commemoration Program

In the Kocadere village of Çınarcık district of Yalova, 830 of our martyrs who were massacred by Greek occupation forces and Greek and Armenian gangs on April 29, 1921 were commemorated with mercy and gratitude in a ceremony.
Cemil Demiryürek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who attended the commemoration ceremony, said, “On this meaningful day, we commemorate our dear martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland with mercy and gratitude. We feel the responsibility of protecting these lands that were entrusted to them in our hearts once again.”
