SANTEK Visits - Can Kaptan and Arı Shipyard
As part of the company visits conducted by the YTSO Academy and the SANTEK Group, both operating under the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), Arı Shipyard and Can Kaptan companies were visited this week.
Representing the chamber were YTSO Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek, Board Member Tamer Yazıcı, Assembly Member Turhan Soysal, General Secretary Taner Eriş, YTSO Academy Board President Köksal Ketenci, and High Advisory Board Member Meltem Danışman. Also present were representatives from the Yalova Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, Yalova University, Gebze University of Technology, the Eastern Marmara Development Agency (MARKA), and KOSGEB.
During the visit, Arı Shipyard, which sponsored the robotics coding class opened in the Altınova district by the YTSO Academy, was thanked, and ideas were exchanged regarding future projects. Information was also provided about the work being carried out for vocational high schools within the framework of the MEİP (Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol). In this context, evaluations were made regarding the preference for vocational high schools, students' academic success during their studies, internship processes, and employment opportunities.
In addition, companies were informed about professional qualification and development courses organized in collaboration with Yalova University Continuing Education Center (YÜSEM) and YTSO Academy.
During the meetings, current sectoral issues and solutions were discussed, and YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek and other participants shared their opinions and suggestions.
