
The 2nd SANTEK 2025 Meeting was Held in Yalova
The second meeting of the Industry and Technology Cooperation Board (SANTEK) for 2025 was held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) Meeting Hall. Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, along with representatives of public institutions and the industry and business world, attended the meeting.
Opening remarks were delivered by Yalova Provincial Director of Industry and Technology İlhan Aydın and YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek.
The first agenda item of the meeting addressed the "Local Development Initiative Program." Murat Özkan, Provincial Coordinator of the MARKA Yalova Investment Support Office, shared with the participants the local investment topics to be supported in Yalova and potential application areas.
The second agenda item addressed "Transformation and efficiency enhancement in production processes through artificial intelligence applications in industry." Assoc. Prof. Dr. Betül Ay from Fırat University presented examples of digital transformation in industry and the advantages of artificial intelligence.
The third topic addressed "Innovative solutions and awareness in sustainable city management with a livable smart cities approach." Associate Professor Çiğdem Avcı Karataş from Yalova University presented her vision for smart city applications and sustainability.
Following this, Duygu Yılmaz, CEO of Biolive Biological and Chemical Technologies, Inc., addressed environmentally friendly production techniques and the contributions of green transformation to industry in her speech titled "Green Transformation and Clean Production."
The final presentation of the meeting was delivered by Şengül Tanır, President of the Yalova Independent Auditors Association. Tanır provided information about the association's activities and ongoing projects.
The meeting concluded after a question-and-answer session. Following the meeting, visitors visited the stands of Porima, a manufacturer of 3D printing filament and an autonomous mobile robot developed by Birfen Elektrik.
