The 38th Ahi Week was celebrated with enthusiasm in Yalova
An Ahilik March and ceremony were held in Yalova as part of the 38th Ahilik Week celebrations. The march, which began in front of Atatürk Primary School, ended at July 15th Democracy and Republic Square.
Following the march, Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, accompanied by other dignitaries, toured the stands of vocational high schools and a photo exhibition featuring the "Ahilik" movement. The program continued with a concert by the Janissary Band, and certificates were presented to tradesmen who keep the Ahilik culture alive.
The ceremony was attended by Yalova Governor Dr. Hülya Kaya, CHP Yalova Deputy Tahsin Becan, Provincial Director of Commerce Alpaslan Tunalı, provincial directors, presidents of the Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, İbrahim Çam, President of the Ahi Industrialists and Businessmen Association, representatives of civil society organizations, and numerous guests.
At the ceremony, where Secretary General Taner Eriş was also present on behalf of the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), certificates were presented to tradesmen who keep the Ahi culture alive.
