The Industry and Technology Cooperation Board met at our Chamber.
The Industry and Technology Cooperation Board (SANTEK), operating under the coordination of Yalova University, Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Yalova Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, continues its work by visiting industrial establishments operating in our province. The aim is to develop university-industry cooperation, identify the needs and expectations of industrialists on-site, and strengthen inter-institutional collaboration.
In a meeting held within this framework, the delegation met with our YTSO Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek and discussed university-industry cooperation efforts, vocational training processes, and projects aimed at the industry.
In his statement, YTSO Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek stated that the delegation, which has visited approximately 100 businesses to date, conducting informational activities on sustainability, vocational training courses, and industrial development, listened to the existing problems and expectations of the firms and made comprehensive assessments on solution proposals. He thanked those involved in the work.
Within the scope of this study, which involves Gebze Technical University Technology Transfer Office, KOSGEB, East Marmara Development Agency, Yalova Machinery Specialization Organized Industrial Zone, Yalova Technopark, and members of the Academy Board and High Advisory Board operating within our chamber as stakeholders, the aim is to increase collaborations that will contribute to the development of Yalova's industry.
