Slander against the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).

There are slanders and false information on the Odatv website in the news titled "Take My Rose, Give Me My Smile". It is out of the question for TOBB to receive service from the company of which TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is a partner. There is no partnership of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at Tür-Sum company, where TOBB provides service.
TOBB President and Board members' companies cannot participate in the tenders organized by TOBB and cannot sell their own products and services to TOBB.

In the tenders organized by TOBB and its affiliates, a written undertaking is also obtained from the company that won the tender. The company that won the tender with this letter of undertaking undertakes that it will not buy goods from the companies of the TOBB President.

Contrary to the slander, allegations, accusations and comments in the news, TOBB's ethical rules were not violated in any way. TOBB has consistently implemented these rules, to which it shows great sensitivity, from the very beginning and will continue to do so.
The Tür-Sum company, whose name is mentioned in the news, has provided technical consultancy services in some activities such as the construction of TOBB's schools in provinces and districts. This service is for the auditing of the said activities independently from construction and procurement works.

Everyone in the public and private sector knows very well that the most important thing is that the construction tender is carried out properly and in accordance with the specification. At this point, it is very important to know the past performance and competence in the selection of technical consultants, which has a key role.

Serving the public and private sector and operating for 44 years, Tür-Sum has been preferred due to its domestic and international business experiences and competent staff.

TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu does not have any partnership or ties with the Tür-Sum company, of which Ahmet Akpınar is the Chairman of the Board.

Armada and Söğütözü mentioned in the news are multi-partner companies. Söğütözü is the owner. Armada is only the operating company. It has 58 partners. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is one of the minority shareholders with 9.74 percent. Ahmet Akpınar is one of the small shareholders with 3.2 percent.

In this context, it is extremely wrong and misleading to try to ignore all these facts by bringing the owner of the technical consultancy company in question to be one of the very small shareholders of a company in which TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is a minority shareholder.
