Vehicle oil change points must have an authorization certificate.
Kenan ENGİN, Vice Chairman of YTSO Board of Directors, stated in his statement that the businesses that change engine oil should apply to the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and obtain Engine Oil Change Point Permit.
As it is known, in accordance with the Waste Oil Management Regulation, fuel stations, repair shops, services, public institutions/organizations, municipalities, businesses operating in mining and other engine oil change companies made an application to the relevant Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Exchange Point Permit is required.
Businesses that change engine oil without a certificate of authorization in accordance with the Environmental Law are given a written notice to obtain a certificate of authorization within sixty days. Businesses that change engine oil without a certificate of authorization despite a written warning are fined 13,620 TL. Within the scope of this provision, administrative sanctions are applied to businesses that change engine oil without an authorization certificate.
In this respect, businesses/facilities that have already changed engine oil but do not have an authorization certificate must apply to the relevant Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and obtain an authorization certificate.
