Visit to Our Chamber from the German Consulate General in Istanbul
Martin Graf, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul, visited the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) and met with our Chairman of the Board Cemil Demiryürek, Board Members Turhan Soysal and Tamer Yazıcı, Chairwoman of the Women Entrepreneurs Board Hayrete Yenikan, Chairwoman of the Young Entrepreneurs Board Oğuzhan Uzun, Chairwoman of the YTSO Academy Board Köksal Ketenci, and other members.
During the visit, a productive meeting was held, addressing topics that will contribute to the development of economic relations between Turkey and Germany. In his opening remarks, YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek highlighted Yalova's strategic position in the Turkish economy, sharing comprehensive information about the province's production capacity, export potential, industrial infrastructure, shipyards, tourism opportunities, and cultural structure.
Martin Graf stated that Yalova offers significant opportunities for international investors with its industrial infrastructure, production capacity, and strategic location, and expressed his belief that the long-standing economic relations between Turkey and Germany will further develop through mutual trust and sustainable cooperation.
During the meeting, discussions were also held on visa processes and the problems encountered in these processes, which are on the agenda of the business world, and mutual exchange of views took place on proposed solutions.
