YTSO ASSEMBLY PRESIDENCY CHANGES
Muhammet Sarıoğlu announced his resignation from the position of YTSO Assembly President due to a busy work schedule, stating that during his term, he acted with a spirit of unity and cooperation for the development of YTSO, the strengthening of the business world, and the efficient conduct of assembly work. Following the election, Abdurrahman Tutuğ was unanimously elected as Assembly President, and Hakan Gençer was elected as Assembly Vice President.
The Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) Assembly Meeting was attended by CHP Yalova Member of Parliament Tahsin Becan, Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel, assembly members, heads of professional committees, and the president and members of the YTSO Young Entrepreneurs Board.
Member of Parliament Tahsin Becan provided information about his activities in the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding issues concerning the Yalova city economy.
Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel also gave an assessment of the municipality's work and informed the assembly members about solutions to the problems faced by business people. In his speech, Gürel conveyed the message, "We will continue to stand by our business community and the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) in all projects aimed at the development of Yalova."
YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek made assessments about the chamber's activities, ongoing projects, and YTSO's work for the business world at the meeting.
Ercan Özel, the Assembly Secretary, informed the assembly members about the monthly income and expenditure situation in line with the report prepared by the Accounts Review Committee.
At the meeting, Oğuzhan Uzun, the Chairman of the YTSO Young Entrepreneurs Board, gave a comprehensive presentation to the assembly members about the board's activities, projects for young entrepreneurs, and future goals.
In his speech, Assembly President Muhammet Sarıoğlu stated that he had held many positions within the YTSO (Yıldız Chamber of Commerce and Industry) for many years, including Vice President of the Board of Directors, Board Member, and Assembly Member, and said, “Due to my commercial investments and workload in different cities, I am ending my term as YTSO Assembly President as of today. During my tenure, we acted with a spirit of unity and cooperation for the development of YTSO, the strengthening of the business world, and the efficient conduct of assembly activities. I would like to thank all the assembly members and colleagues with whom I worked during this process.”
In the election held at the meeting, Abdurrahman Tutuğ was unanimously elected as Assembly President and Hakan Gençer was elected as Assembly Vice President.
Following the elections, YTSO (Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek thanked Muhammet Sarıoğlu, who had diligently served as the Assembly President until now, and stated the following:
“Mr. Muhammet Sarıoğlu has made significant contributions to our chamber's assembly during his term and has achieved successful results in a spirit of unity and cooperation. I thank him for his efforts and contributions to date and wish him success in his new career. I also wish success to our new Assembly President, Mr. Abdurrahman Tutuğ, and to Mr. Hakan Gençer, who was elected as the Assembly Vice President, in their new roles. As YTSO, we will continue to work for the Yalova business world with a culture of common sense and consultation.”
CHP Yalova Member of Parliament Tahsin Becan and Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel, who also attended the meeting, thanked Muhammet Sarıoğlu for his successful work to date and wished success to Abdurrahman Tutuğ and Hakan Gençer, who were elected to their new roles.
The meeting concluded with mutual evaluations and a group photo session.
