
YTSO Delegation Visits Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek
A delegation from the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) visited Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Deputy Minister Zekeriya Kaya.
The visit was attended by YTSO Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek, Assembly President Muhammet Sarıoğlu, Board Members Ertuğrul Evci and Tamer Yazıcı, Assembly Member and Deputy Chairman of the Ornamental Plants Producers Sub-Union (SÜSBİR) Ahmet Dündar, Assembly Members Hakan Gençer and Emir Ömer Akdemir, and YTSO Academy President and Assembly Member Köksal Ketenci.
During the meeting, economic challenges facing the business world, expectations of various sectors, and feedback from the field were conveyed directly to Minister Mehmet Şimşek. The YTSO delegation shared the current challenges of the real sector and the demands of the business world, and proposed solutions.
YTSO Chairman Cemil Demiryürek emphasized the importance of communicating developments in the field and feedback from members directly to their interlocutors, stating that they would continue such discussions to resolve the business world's challenges.
Minister Şimşek also briefed the delegation on the recently announced 2026–2028 Medium-Term Program, noting that the views of the private sector and professional organizations were taken into account in the program's development process. He said, "The Medium-Term Program is crucial for the private sector's ability to foresee the future and make long-term plans. In the long run, it will enable industrialists and traders to invest in an environment of confidence and increase production and employment."
