DemoDay 26 Held at Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The DemoDay 26 event, hosted by the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together key stakeholders of the Yalova entrepreneurship ecosystem. The program, which connected entrepreneurs with investors, was held with the strong participation of business representatives, technology-focused startups, and investors.
The opening speech was given by İsmail Yılmaz, General Manager of Ankasoft and investor in Yalova Tekmer. In his speech, Yılmaz stated that entrepreneurship is not just about generating ideas; it is a long-term process that grows through disciplined work, mentorship support, and strong collaborations.
Highlighting the importance of university-industry collaboration, Yılmaz noted that mentorship programs conducted to date have made significant contributions to the commercialization processes of young startups. Emphasizing that an ecosystem approach is critical for sustainable success, Yılmaz stated that the coordinated action of the public sector, universities, and the private sector will accelerate regional development.
Thirteen aspiring entrepreneurs took the stage during the program and had the opportunity to present their projects to investors. Throughout the day, investor meetings and networking events laid the groundwork for future collaborations.
