The Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) hosted Ersin Tatar, the 5th President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The conference titled "Turkish Presence in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Strategic Importance of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus," organized under the auspices of the Yalova Governorship and in collaboration with Yalova University, Yalova Provincial Special Administration, Yalova Municipality, Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Yalova University Turkish World Studies Application and Research Center, was held with the participation of Ersin Tatar, the 5th President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The program included protocol speeches by Yalova Governor Dr. Ahmet Hamdi Usta, Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel, Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, Yalova Provincial General Assembly President Hasan Soygüzel, YTSO Board Chairman Cemil Demiryürek, and Dr. Cihan Yalvar, Director of the Yalova University Turkish World Studies Application and Research Center.
Speaking at the conference, Ersin Tatar, the 5th President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), made assessments regarding the geopolitical balance of the Eastern Mediterranean, the strategic importance of the TRNC, and the historical presence of the Turkish nation in the region. The program continued with a question-and-answer session where participants' questions were answered.
Following the conference, Ersin Tatar, the 5th President of the TRNC, visited Cemil Demiryürek, the Chairman of the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO), at his office and met with members of the Board of Directors, Assembly, and Young Entrepreneurs Board.
During the meeting, the economic structure of Yalova, its trade life, investment potential, and opportunities for commercial and economic cooperation between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the Yalova business community were discussed.
