Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry once again broke new ground. Within the framework of the cooperation between Zorlu Energy Solutions (ZES) and Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 7 Vehicle Charging Stations were put into use within the chamber.

Tahsin Becan, Chairman of the Board of Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, pointed out that electric cars have a great importance in terms of sustainability and said:

The trend towards electric vehicles will increase in our province in the near future. We believe that this increase will occur more quickly, especially with our national car TOGG, which we are preparing to see on the roads in a short time. The fact that electric vehicles prevent environmental and noise pollution also becomes attractive with low fuel costs. It is estimated that there will be more than 170 million electric vehicles on the roads by 2030 in the future. At the same time, the importance of green transformation is increasing in the changing and developing world. One of the important steps to be taken in terms of sustainability is this transformation. Within the scope of economic growth, it is aimed to minimize the impact on the environment and even to zero the carbon footprint. In this context, in order to raise the awareness of our members and set an example, we have made available to our members and the public a total of 7 vehicle charging stations, 3 in the front and 4 in the rear parking lot of our room. I wish that this project, in which we support clean energy production, will be beneficial for our city and our chamber.”
